Montclair, NJ will always be an interesting town to photograph. There is so much to focus on, such as small families, animals, glowing lights, and other views. Most people believe Montclair, NJ is just some wannabe NYC, but it is so not true. Montclair has its own identity and own personality. Just walking down Bloomfield Ave, there are plenty of things to photograph. I saw people crossing the street, just minding their own business. I saw men working on the road, making the streets a smoother place to drive. I had the chance to photograph my own sister, Veronica Hofmann, and I got to freeze a moment in time we spent together. I found it very interesting to slow down the world for a second since we move so fast. Montclair never sleeps.
Verona, NJ has many things to offer in the little town it is, but I focused on the park more than anything. Verona Park has a very large pond and nice walkways for people to jog and observe the area. It was beautiful to freeze a moment in time since the park has so many people moving so fast. The pond reflects the trees around the park and it is such a sight to see. People are in their own world and I got to photograph them inside it.
Cedar Grove, NJ is a very small town but I enjoy experiencing all it has to offer. I photographed Larry Carpet’s in Cedar Grove because of the owner’s van and the way the building looks in the back. The town has many interesting views and lots of things to take pictures of.
